2020
Update:
We managed two new Champions in a covid year!! Cochrane and Florence finished their CKC championships.
Its a Covid kind of year. Dog shows and most events are cancelled for the year. Luckily we did manage one show early in the year with points earned by Cochrane and Florence. Hoping for better days in 2021!!
We ventured to Ontario for our favorite show of the year the LOC. A beautiful weekend started off with a tailgate party with friends in the parking lot. Lobster and fresh haddock was on the menu and we had lots of laughs.
All the kids did well placing in the ribbons both days. Two boys, two girls....how proud are we that this young group did so well. George topped the weekend off by going RWD under Judge Traci Stintzcum.
Ferguson is enjoying his time standing at stud at Woefdram Kennels in Amsterdam. He will ultimately sire some beautiful puppies and is already doing well in the ring. He won his Champion class at both shows his first weekend out. He picked up a Reserve CAC and has points towards his championship. We look forward to more great results from Sander and Ferguson throughout the summer.
We have taken some time off from the All-Breed show ring to concentrate in specialties throughout the country. While we still do attend some all breed shows we are much more selective on when and where we go. We make our decision based on judges, location, who we have to show and past experience at the show. We have many friends in various areas and love to meet up with them when we can.
We are at a point in our breeding program where we want to showcase the quality of our dogs to other breeders and have been receiving some outstanding feedback to date. Its been a long journey but one that is definitely worth it.
