Madison is now retired and enjoying life as a house dog. She has provided to us a great foundation of dogs on which we can build our kennel. Her children are doing well in the field, obedience ring and conformation ring. So far she has produced 6 Canadian Champions (Hannah, Gus, Wilson, Stanley, Paige, Lola), 3 Obedience Titles (Wilson, Goro, Hunter), 1 Working Title (Hannah), 1 Grand Champion Excellent and a MBISS & MBIS (Wilson) and BPISS show winners (Hannah). Her first grandchild is already proving herself in the conformation ring with a BPISS win at a mere 6 months 3 days. Another grandchild is retrieving ducks and she is only 5 months old and yet another is a MBIS & BISS winner (Harley)
Madison is the foundation bitch of Madabout kennels and her registered name is where our kennel name originated from.
Madison is a very light coloured girl (almost white) with outstanding dark pigment. She is a litter mate to Darren. Like her mom she is happy, very smart and sure of herself. She is a pretty girl and can play hard with the boys in the field but is gentle, loving and has a wonderful temperament. Lucky for her, her mother and grandfather passed on their nice square heads and winning expressions. Madison’s favorite spot is on the couch so look out if you’re laying down she’s bound to get right up on top of you. Comfort is her mainstay!! Madison is a girl that knows what she wants and lets you know it as well. She has been a wonderful producer to date and is stamping her get with her looks and personality.
We are pleased to announce that Madison easily attained her St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog certification in 2004.
Madison enjoyed her retired life with her new owner Lavinka Clark. Sadly Lavinka passed in 2014 and Madison crossed the bridge to be with her not long after. They were two pea in a pod and I'm sure they are enjoying themselves together once again. Thank you Lavinka for providing Madison a loving home in her retirement years.
